The Ourche Valley
In Claudon, you can discover theOurche Valleythanks to a series of 10 heritage information boards. Installed in 2012 by the Droiteval-Ourche-Patrimoine association, these boards trace the valley's industrial past and preserve the collective memory of its former glassworks and forges.
Places to visit: old forges, Droiteval Abbey, Pont Tatal (bungee jumping), La Hutte Arboretum, the glass museum, etc .
Summer hiking
Every summer, around August 15, theDroiteval Ourche Patrimoine(DOP) association organizes a tourist rally in the form of an approximately 8 km hike. Every year, more and more people take part in this fun and friendly event. A lunch allows all participants to get together after the events, which are mainly aimed at bringing the Ourche Valley to life and showcasing its heritage.
