Museum of Glass, Iron, Wood, Embroidery, and Resistance
The museum of glass, iron, wood, embroidery, and resistance traces the industrial heyday of the Ourche Valley, particularly the epic story of glass, iron, and wood.
Many glassworks were established in the Darney forest, particularly in the Ourche valley, where there were no fewer than 28 master glassmakers in 1572! Today, only traces of this past activity remain.
