The source of the Saône

Vioménil is located on the watershed.

The Ménamont, the highest point in the municipality at 466 meters, sees the Madon, a tributary of the Moselle, spring from its northern slope.

On its southern flank lies the Saône, a tributary of the Rhône and the ninth longest river in France at 480 kilometers. The source of the Saône was developed in the^19th century. Today, you can enjoy this spot to the fullest, where picnic tables and a playground await you!
