The former Benedictine convent, built in Serécourt in 1044 at the foot of the fortress of Deuilly, was demolished for the first time in 1467, then a second time in 1562. It was then transferred to Morizécourt in 1625. From that date, the monks built a new convent "the priory of Morizécourt". In 1713, the property was surrounded by walls, then a chapel was added. It has a stained glass window, representing Saint-Georges de Deuilly.
During the Second World War, the seminarians of Saint-Dié came to take refuge in this place.
Today it remains the main building with the courtyard walls, the beautiful front door and the chapel visible from the road.

Possibility to visit the interior of the buildings (cell, chapter house, Chapel of the Prior, cloister, oil mill, school) and the exterior (gardens, springs, water basins).
Allow about 45 minutes for the visit.
