CLAUDON
This convent had many different functions.
First convent for women in the twelfth, this place became priory of men in the fifteenth, glassworks in the eighteenth. This activity will employ nearly 150 workers and will lead to the construction of the workers' city.
It will be confiscated as national property after the Revolution and become a warehouse then will follow the industrial trend of the Ourche valley becoming forged at the end of the Xviiith century.
