This centre is open to all audiences and is managed by the Association of the Centre d'Animation de la Préhistoire C. Guillaume de Darney (Law 1901).

The presence of a Center of Animation of Prehistory in Darney is explained by the fact that Vôge is rich in prehistoric sites, discovered by a team of volunteer archaeologists and professionals in more than 40 years of patient prospections.

Many workshops are offered for the whole family and everyone leaves with a souvenir.
